Financial Math A and B- This 2 semester course is designed for students who have completed Algebra II and want an advanced mathematics alternative to precalc. This course challenges students to gain a deeper understanding of financial mathematics through mastery of skill sets in advanced statistics and probability;††systems of equations; series;††percentages; proportions; data analysis; linear systems; and exponential functions.

The course is designd to teach real-world†financial†literacy to students on the topics of personal†finance; and business subjects. Through relevant project-based learning activities students complete the 2 semester course with advanced skills and competencies in financial planning; budgeting and wise spending; banking; paying taxes; the importance of insurance; long-term investing; buying a house; consumer loans; economic principles; traveling abroad; starting a business; and analyzing business data.†
