Course description
This course is about personal money management. Students will apply critical-thinking skills to analyze personal financial decisions based on current and projected economic factors. Financial Mathematics will integrate career and postsecondary education planning into financial decision making. Topics included budgeting, withholdings, income taxes, car and home loans, credit, and investing for the future. This course counts as a high school math credit and is an alternate course for the Business, Marketing, and Finance Cluster in the Business & Industry Endorsement. Note: This course may not be acknowledged as a math credit by some 4-year universities.
