Course Description: Algebra 1, scholars will explore a variety of foundational algebraic concepts. All mathematical topics are integrated, with statistics and geometry serving as context for working with linear expressions. Throughout the course, expressions, equations, and functions are presented graphically, symbolically, and contained in tables. These concepts and skills are taught using a variety of approaches creating a well-rounded learning experience to launch a student into the next sequence of courses. Scholars must meet eligibility requirements to take this course.
