Course description

This course is for students who have demonstrated proficiency in Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 1 or who would like to challenge themselves. This course will address the topics identified in the Arizona Mathematics Standards. Students will understand and apply the properties of functions, polynomials, rational functions, limits, exponential functions, logarithms, sequences and series, trigonometry, conics, systems of equations/inequalities, and matrices. A student proficient in this course will have the skills to be successful in Honors Finite/Brief Calculus or AP Calculus AB.
