Course description

This honors course is designed as a comprehensive study of world history topics. Students will use inquiry to explore a variety of people; events; and movements in world history. Students will analyze the impact of social; geographic; political; and economic influences on historical events. The course includes a balanced approach to the Eastern and Western Hemispheres including a study of the peoples of Africa; the Americas; Aria; and Europe. Students can expect a greater academic challenge with additional independence activities; a more rigorous approach to the material; and deeper analysis.†
