Course description

Humanities II is a mixture of classic, contemporary and multicultural literature from authors around the world. They include short stories, essays, fiction, nonfiction, drama and poetry; along with the architecture, music and art from the time periods.  Curriculum is aligned to the Common Core English Language Arts Standards and emphasizes writing.  Students will also create a Senior Portfolio with a resume, letters of recommendation and a compilation of best works to showcase their skills for post-secondary plans.
