Course description

Interdisciplinary Biology is a lab science class which uses the study of life processes in exploring real world situations while using science and engineering practices.  In an integrated science course; students explore concepts from more than one discipline within individual lessons and across units.  This course will ask students to apply what they have learned to solving a problem or answering a question.  Topics include: biochemistry; homeostasis; biotechnology; natural selection; cycling of matter and flow of energy in living systems. This course meets that lab requirement for state universities. Students who earn below 70% will not be eligible to take the next level science course. Students who do not earn a 70% will repeat the course through Edgenuity only.
