Course description

The course expands students' piano technique. All music standards are addressed including performance; improvisation; composing and arranging; notation; analysis and evaluation of music; and music history. In addition tot he classical repetoire; students read; play; and analyze music from various time periods and cultures. The school provides an instrument for use in class. Course may be repeated for credit; but not grade replacement.†
