Course description

Introduction to Green Technology develops student awareness of and skills for careers in sustainable STEM fields. Students will gain an understanding of climate science; climate change; and the various technologies associated with them. Students will focus on exploring environmental problems and explore and design solutions to these problems. This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of Earth Science; Physical Science; and technological sciences. Students will relate these concepts to real world situations to demonstrate their understanding. Students will be able to take away from this course a strong interdisciplinary science background necessary to understand; critically evaluate; and mitigate scientific problems.
