Introduction to Green Technology develops student awareness of and skills for careers in sustainable STEM fields. Students will gain an understanding of climate science, climate change, and the various technologies associated with them. Students will focus on exploring environmental problems and explore and design solutions to these problems. This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of Earth Science, Physical Science, and technological sciences. Students will relate these concepts to real world situations to demonstrate their understanding. Students will be able to take away from this course a strong interdisciplinary science background necessary to understand, critically evaluate, and mitigate scientific problems.
