Intro to Strings is a hands-on beginning orchestra course for students who want to learn violin, viola, cello, or bass—no previous musical experience required. Students will build foundational skills in playing technique, music reading, rhythm, and ensemble performance while exploring a wide variety of musical styles in a fun and supportive environment. Designed as a fast-track into the school’s regular orchestra program, this course helps students quickly develop the confidence and skills needed to perform as part of a full ensemble.
