Course description

This course is designed to give the advanced music student the opportunity to study and perform music of all jazz styles. Improvisational skills will be stressed. Students must exhibit by audition; high performance skill on at least one of the following instruments: saxophone; trombone; trumpet; drums; piano; guitar; and string bass. Public performances will be required. Instruments will be furnished as available. (May be repeated for credit)
