Prerequisite: One year of high school science.This course focuses on an introduction to genetics and the characteristics of living organisms. This course includes basic principles such as atomic structure; compounds and mixtures. This course allows students to learn more about the world through two different semester-long†science†classes. Students engage in laboratories and learn about forensics including evidence collection techniques; fingerprinting; DNA analysis; toxicology; blood analysis; and more.
