Course description

This course will enable students to further develop the communication skills of listening speaking; reading and writing Mandarin Chinese at a more advanced level.† In this standards-based course; students will also be able to communicate interpersonally in common; daily situations by acquiring frequent expressions as well as basic grammar and vocabulary.† This course will balance speaking; comprehension; reading; and writing skills by focusing on the most frequently used vocabulary as well as by mass exposure to the language through a variety of authentic resources relating to Chinese culture.
