Course description

This course is designed for the novice Mariachi musician; as well as those with minimal experience in the Mariachi ensemble. Open to all without audition; students will have the opportunity to learn traditional mariachi instruments; as well as other instruments at the discretion of the director. Students will be exposed to a variety of styles and genres within the Mariachi ensemble tradition and will perform throughout the academic year. (May be repeated for credit)
