Course description

This honors course is designed to introduce students to general entrepreneurial; business and marketing concepts with an international focus. Students will be introduced to design thinking and the skills associated with entrepreneurship including the ability to take initiative and creatively seek out and identify entrepreneurial opportunities; planning; financing; marketing; and managing business. Students are also introduced to the basic foundations of creating and editing electronic documents through Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Photoshop; and multimedia technology applications as part of the creative design process. Students will learn Microsoft Project to effectively solve critical management planning tasks. Dual enrollment credit may be offered through the Maricopa Community College system for this program at the MET Professional Academy. Students must also enroll in course 40590 Internship. Course and internship previously called Entrepreneurship.
