Course description

This class applies the math students have learned in Algebra I and Geometry to real world examples. The two main goals of the class are to see where math is used outside the classroom and to strengthen students' Algebra skills. The class satisfies the state's third year of math requirement and also prepares students for Algebra II CP their senior year if they choose to take it. Topics include, but are not limited to, finances for life, civic readiness, health and fitness, the digital world, and art and music.
