Multicultural Literature is a semester-long course that integrates writing for a variety of purposes and audiences with literature study that reflects different cultures. Emphasis is placed on divers texts while writing activities may include a focus on argumentative; expository; and narrative modes. Along with exploring universal themes; students will recognize how culture influences how we view the world.
