This is a name change for the current class Science Seminars.
This course will be a survey of Astronomy; Meteorology; Zoology; and Botany.  The two major goals of the course are to investigate areas not covered in our other science courses; and to experience the amazing creative hand of God in our world and universe.  Students will learn to enhance their use of the scientific method and problem solving through labs and group activities.  They will design and perform lab experiments; communicate their results; observe and measure; cultivate and harvest the school garden; participate in cooperative learning; and create projects.  Students are expected to participate outdoors in the garden and in 2 Saturday field trips.  We will explore the galaxy; universe; and weather patterns; and the science of soil; plants; nutrient cycles; biodiversity; ecology; animals; and their interactions and dependency with each other.
