Course description

This course is a performance-based ensemble consisting of students of all grades (9-12) and skill levels. The focus of the ensemble is performance; both in terms of advanced technical skills and that of a variety of literature; with performance outcomes that align with Arizona Academic Standards for Arts Education. The ensemble will perform at least four concerts at the school and may also participate in various festivals/contests. The students will enjoy at least one guest clinician in preparation for festival performance or upcoming concert. Students will perform in an ensemble each year and may audition for a more advanced placement. Dual enrollment will be offered to all Seniors in their fourth year of performance ensemble membership.
