Course description

This course is designed for the advanced string player and is open to students who qualify by audition or instructor approval only. Outside of school practicing; rehearsals; and performances are required. This is the premier string/full orchestra; performing group. It requires the highest level of high school string performance. Opportunities exist for string quartets and other chamber ensembles. Where available; wind players join with the strings from chamber and/or symphony orchestra for a full orchestra experience to perform in concerts and festivals. (May be repeated for credit)†
