Physics 1-2 VL is a rigorous Honors laboratory science course designed to provide a more challenging and quantitative approach to developing a deeper conceptual understanding of basic physics principles online through Edgenuity with in-depth enrichment projects.† Topics include Newtonian mechanics; energy; thermodynamics; waves; electricity; magnetism; and nuclear and modern physics. Throughout the course; students solve mathematical problems; reason abstractly; and learn to think critically about the physical world. Major concepts are introduced through laboratory experiences that include both interactive virtual labs and hands-on lab options; in which students ask questions and create hypotheses.
