Students with an individual education plan or 504 accommodation
Course description
This course was originally called Practical English I. When Az Department of Education implemented "End of Course" State assessments, the sections I-IV were added to match with the "End of Course" testing labels. Once those End of Course assessments were eliminated, the students were put into Practical English I classes. That is why the transcripts for the student in question are showing Practical English I, II, I and I. The designation of I-IV should have been eliminated.
The classes were 9-12 grade levels and were comprised of students with IEP and or 504 accommodations. The designation "Practical English I-IV" is no longer used in the district.
