Scaled Model Making is broadly designed to assist students in gainingan overview and the basic skills necessary to create scaled set models;whether they be for theatrical or interior design; stop motion animation;artistic exhibition; or hobby activities. The course provides an introductionto the methods of constructing in sheet materials (card; wood; or plastic);shaping or modeling soft materials to create complex forms (modelingclay or soft foam); achieving realistic textures; and methods of paintingand finishing.
