Biology & Chemistry: Passing Grade in both, Instructors Approval
Course description
This course introduces the field of sports medicine. Emphasis is on the study of human anatomy and physiology. Components include the prevention, recognition, and treatment of sports injuries. Students will become First Aid and CPR certified. Dissection is required. An additional 15 athletic training hours outside of class are also required.
