Course description
These courses provide a thorough introduction to the basics required for the study of the
human body. Students receive a general introduction to life functions, the terminology,
and phonetic pronunciations used to describe body parts and their locations, as well as
an overall review of human development and body processes and system functions. This
course also includes infection control and standard precautions, which emphasizes the
importance of maintaining health and safety in the health-care work environment, as well
as highlighting the latest practices and protocols.
