Course description

Statistics are all around us, from weather forecasts, opinion polls, and school ratings to insurance pricing and the stock market. This course is designed to provide learners with a solid foundation in statistical concepts and techniques with a particular emphasis on their real-world applications. The course will cover the basics of descriptive and inferential statistics to prepare learners to use statistics in various fields, including business, science, and social sciences.
