Zoology is the study of animals. This elective course will focus on the evolution and biological fitness of organisms on our planet. The development; behavior; evolutionary patterns; and anatomy and physiology of animals will be investigated through the crosscutting concepts of the Next Generation Science Standards. Extensive; collaborative lab work; including dissections; will be performed in the discovery and understanding of patterns throughout Kingdom Animalia
