This course will provide students with the skills and concepts needed to gain personal and financial responsibility related to financial planning; savings; investments; and charitable giving in the global community by exploring the relationship between income and careers; money management; credit and debt management; risk management and investing; protecting assets and insurance; taxes; and becoming a critical consumer. Variables; equations; funtions; systems of equations; graphs; statistics piecewise functions; regression limits; exponential functions and linear/quadratic systems are addressed in an applications-based learning approach.
