Course description

Ceramics II is an advanced course offered to students who have successfully completed Sculpture and Ceramics. Students will explore various studio problems in the process of forming clay on the wheel; by hand building; and by combining both techniques. An emphasis is placed on glaze application and surface decoration. The students will also explore the different types of clay and firing techniques. Course may be repeated for credit. Fee required. Prerequisite: Ceramics I
