Course description

The purpose of this course is to examine the different genres of film. The class will look at how some of today’s directors stylistically put objects; scenes or themes into their movies. The overall goal for students enrolled in this course is to become critical thinkers; instead of passively watching a show. They will in turn be active participants as they examine various structures or conventions of different films from around the world. Development and production of film is also included in this course. This is part of the IB Diploma Programme and certificate programs. Fee required.
