Course description

The Advanced Digital Communications-Print course publishes several newspapers; both in print and online. In addition to the intermediate coursework; students; working as editors; will assign stories; create layouts; copyedit; maintain a working budget; and market the paper. In addition; the staff is also comprised of photographers and artists who are responsible for the visual and promotional aspects of the paper. Because this is a rigorous course and self-motivation is such an important part of this curriculum; students who cannot work at this level and who receive a “D” or “F” at semester will not be allowed to continue the course the following semester. Students will have the opportunity to participate in SkillsUSA.
