Course description

A Pre-Advanced Placement (Pre-AP) course; this is a (rigorous); accelerated language course designed for the college bound student. Students will: Read and write about a wide variety of literary types. Perform extended outside reading projects. Propose and develop a personal project based on research they complete and write a five-page research paper in the spring. Be expected to work independently and stay on task.
