Spanish IV
Spanish 4 emphasizes the use of the language for active communication. Use vocabulary; grammar and syntax with increasing proficiency and understand spoken Spanish in both formal and conversational situations. Course content may reflect additional interests and special activities; such as the arts; current events; music; literature and presentations in Spanish. Engage in activities to polish Spanish speaking and writing skills. Speaking activities include prepared and impromptu speeches; role-play situations; group skits and discussions. Writing activities focus on compositions and written reporting of current events in the Spanish-speaking world. Expect to speak Spanish in class entirely.
