Honors Zoology/Botany is a year-long course based upon the fundamental principles of evolution. Various groups of animals (zoology) and plants (botany)will be used as case studies through which students can gain a better understanding of the mechanisms behind evolutionary change. This course willinclude dissections and some field experiences; along with a research project profiling the evolutionary history of one phyletic group of organisms.
