Outside work is required and preparation is needed. Individualized study opportunities will allow each student to expand his/her talents in these fields. Homework is advanced with outside reading. In Quarters 1; 2 and 3 there are 58 entire class periods of lab times. Following the labs; students are graphing; analyzing and interpreting data obtained from the lab studies. In Quarter 4; the student will learn about Biomechanics and sport skill analysis that involves a daily lab. Students analyze sport movements through videography and apply principles of physics to each motion. In honors; we go into more depth for each topic and use scientific inquiry to address each concept. Assessments are more in depth and require the honors students to read research articles to answer daily board questions as homework each night.
